You're Doing Better Than You Think

Have you ever felt busy doing absolutely nothing? Unread messages, looming deadlines, dirty laundry piling up, yet somehow you find yourself curled up in bed, binge-watching that irresistible K-drama. At the moment, it feels good, a brief escape, but once the episode ends, guilt creeps in. "Why am I wasting time like this?" you think, yet, the cycle continues. You promise to be better, but before you know it, you've downloaded another season.

It's an endless loop, moments of happiness, followed by frustration, then a rush of panic, and finally, some fleeting relief when a task gets done at the last minute. Yet, somehow, despite ticking things off the list, it never feels like enough. Productivity feels out of reach.

But here's what I’ve learned: progress is still progress, no matter how small. Sometimes, starting with the simplest task is enough to shift the momentum. Today, I did my laundry first, and though it was just one small thing, it mattered. So, I want to encourage you to celebrate every little victory. No matter how minor it seems, you've accomplished something, and that is always worth acknowledging.

You're doing a good job, even on the days when it doesn’t feel like it. Take a breath, and know that even the smallest steps move you forward.
