White. Black
The world is consolidated on the two basic inclinations, the negative, an the affirmative.
It could be the inclination to joy, and the inclination to pain. One must have a leaning proclivity, even if not in totality, at each living moment towards one of these. There is always a propensity to either beauty or ugliness, strength or weakness, love or hate, joy or pain in every given equation. All these can suffice to say 'good or bad'. This is the natural order of things, and it is how the world is run.
Now the dilemma in all of it is, us as humans have the same capacity to navigate both sides of this coin.
The same capacity for hate is the same capacity for love, for joy same as for pain. In essence, only one who has enjoyed the ecstasy of love can endure the agony of hurt and hate. It is impossible to develop the capacity of seeing beauty without having the capacity to see ugliness. This is the way the world is, and the dilemma in which we as humans have been placed.
It is like a give and take kind of thing, and one which is necessary to ensure the proper balance in the natural order of things.
We therefore have a choice, to create a new order and place ourselves on the narrow patch of living, where we do not let our sensitivity become vulnerable these natural forces of balance, or free ourselves to the open realm of realism that confers beauty and delight, but also pain and strife in equal measure on the flip side of life.
