The Weight of Disappearing
Ever had days when you just want to vanish? Not in a dramatic way; just to slip away, unnoticed, into some quiet corner of the world where no one asks anything of you. A place where the noise stops, and you can finally breathe.
Life can be heavy. The weight of expectations, disappointments, and the endless cycle of trying to be okay when you’re not can make disappearing seem like the only way to pause it all.
But here’s the thing: deep down, we don’t really want to disappear. We want to be found. We want someone to see us, really see us, and say, I understand. You’re not alone.
You are not the burden you carry. You are not the sum of your struggles. You are worthy of love, of rest, of kindness, even from yourself.
So, on the days when the world feels too loud, when you want to slip away, remember this: You are here, and that matters. You are seen, even when you feel invisible. And even when you’re struggling, you are still enough.
