THE MUNDANE THINGS
The other day, a class was delivered by a lecturer we had never met before that day, and quite honestly, I haven’t fully recovered from how all the thoughts that seeing him teach provoked in my head. I daresay that’s the best class I have been in in a long time, because you know, it’s not exactly common to meet a lecturer who is intentional about carrying everyone along.
One of the thoughts that kept me awake at night was the fact that we can all leave marks in people’s lives if we only carry out our basic responsibilities diligently. Just like me, there are many other people out there whose lives will experience a shift just because another person did what they’re supposed to do with all of their heart and put a lot of their effort into it.
We should quit thinking that we need to be in front of the whole world to give our best. It’s simple logic; a person who performs excellently at small tasks builds the capacity needed to take on the bigger ones when they come.
Remember that old saying, “Little drops of water make a mighty ocean” yes? Now apply the principle to the tasks life brings every day and watch yourself transform.
