The Mirror of Self-Reflection

Someone once said to me that “the mirror of self-reflection is never dirty”, however could it be blurred sometimes? I think so, but what about when the mirror is held up by someone else?

People often have a way of seeing us in a different light than we see ourselves, especially when they’re people that know us well. We open our hearts to people and invite them into our lives, of course they see us in a different way than we see ourselves. However, there’s a caveat to this. As much as people see us in a different way, we have to be careful not to change our lens altogether and disrupt the views we already have of ourselves.

They say no one can know you like you know yourself, however I think sometimes we need other views from other people to put together a picture of ourselves that makes sense.
