The Long Middle of Success
Nobody tells you about the silence that comes after effort. You do the work. You wake up early, you stay late, you pour yourself into something with the kind of devotion that should, by all reasonable measures, produce something visible. And yet. Nothing. Not yet.
This is the part they skip in the success stories. The long middle. The days that feel identical to the days before them. The quiet that makes you wonder if you have been fooling yourself all along.
But I know that results are not always polite enough to arrive when you expect them. They do not keep your schedule. They do not care that you are tired or that your faith is wearing thin at the edges.
Showing up is not just a strategy. It is a declaration. It says, I am still here. I have not decided to become someone who quits.
The tree does not argue with the soil about when to grow. It simply continues to root itself deeper, quietly, in the dark, where no one is watching. And then one morning, something breaks through.
You will not always see it coming. But it will come. Keep going.
All my love,
