The Life You’re Looking For Might Already Be in Your Laundry Basket
You keep thinking life will start when you publish the book, or pay the debt, or find someone who texts back before noon. But then there’s your kid dancing in the kitchen, or your friend sending you a meme at 1 a.m., and it hits you: This is it. This messy, imperfect, socks-on-the-floor life is not the prequel. It’s the main event.
We spend so much time straining toward a future that’s shinier and more organised. But healing teaches you to lean in and to the chipped mugs, the bad dates, the 17 browser tabs. The pressure to have a bigger life makes you miss the beauty of the small one you’re already living. Your life doesn’t have to look like a Pinterest board to be worthy. Sometimes the miracle is that you’re still showing up, folding socks, choosing kindness. That counts. That is life.
Expect good things to happen.
