The Calm One
You’re trying to be the calm one, the person who doesn’t get openly angry. You say “it’s fine” when it’s not. You’re the quickest to say “no worries”, one who feels very heavy with so much unspoken resentment.
Let me tell you something: we’ve all been there, on both sides.
That quiet storm inside you? It often comes from a place of feeling you can’t just say what’s wrong. Maybe you fear the conflict, or you don’t feel it’s safe to be fully honest. But those sighs and that silent treatment? They just create a confusing fog for everyone.
It’s okay to admit you’re upset. The goal isn’t to win a fight; it’s to clear the air. Your feelings are valid, and expressing them directly is a gift to yourself and to your relationships.
True peace is built on honest communication, not silent storms.
