Sorry: The most magical word

When we were young, we were taught the five magic words: Please, Excuse me, Sorry, Thank you, and Pardon me. Among these, I believe “Sorry” holds the most power. This simple, one-syllable word carries immense weight and has the ability to diffuse tension, mend relationships and turn chaos into peace.

Yet, the act of apologising is often mistakenly perceived as a sign of weakness. But in truth, it is one of the most courageous things a person can do. Admitting when you are wrong and showing genuine remorse for your actions not only brings peace to those you may have hurt but it also brings a sense of relief and inner peace to yourself.

A sincere apology can heal wounds and rebuild trust. Therefore, I encourage you today to embrace the act of seeking reconciliation especially when you know you are in the wrong.

Choose the path of peace
