- Some days are just good days.
Some days are just good days.
Not every day comes with a lesson. Some days don’t ask you to be strong or brave. Some days just let you exist. You wake up, and nothing is urgently wrong. Your body feels okay. Your mind is quiet enough. And for once, the world isn’t demanding too much from you.
These days can feel almost unfamiliar, especially if you’re used to always pushing through something. You might even feel the urge to rush past them, to look for the next problem, the next thing to fix. But good days don’t need to be explained or justified. They don’t need to earn their place. They are allowed to be simple.
A good day might look like laughing a little louder than usual. Or finishing a task without feeling drained. Or enjoying your food. Or noticing the sky. It might look like nothing special to anyone else, but it feels like relief to you. And that matters.
So, if today feels light, let it. Don’t wait for it to disappear. Don’t feel guilty for enjoying it. Hold it gently. Say thank you. Let yourself rest inside it. Some days are just good days, and those are worth appreciating too.
All my love,
Olamide from MANI
