Self Appraisal

Dear Friend,

How are you doing today?

You see, sometimes, in the middle of doing so much, we forget to pause and check in with the most important person ourselves.

So today, I am here to remind you: take a moment for a little self-appraisal, not to criticise or compare, but to reflect with honesty and kindness. Ask yourself these questions: How am I really doing? What am I proud of? What do I need more of? What can I let go of? Then think deeply and give yourself the honest answer.

Self-appraisal isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It's about recognising your growth, even if it’s quiet. It’s about holding space for your struggles without shame. It’s giving yourself credit for showing up, especially on days it wasn’t easy and convenient.

We often wait for others to validate us, but true peace begins when we learn to recognise our own worth, even when the world is silent. So be gentle with yourself. Celebrate your little wins. Be honest about what you need to work on, but don’t forget to acknowledge how far you’ve come.

Your journey matters. And every step, even the small ones, counts.

Yours Truly, Ebuka from MANI
