Rejection

Rejection is an inevitable part of life, and as challenging as it can be to navigate, the way we handle it is very important.

Whether via an email, text message or speech, always remember that rejection is not a reflection of your self-worth or your capabilities as an individual.

It is okay to take the time to feel your feelings and process them properly. We are oftentimes our own harshest critics; so please treat yourself kindly. Instead of dwelling on what you see as flaws and blaming them, focus on your strengths and the things you have been able to accomplish. Learn to accept what you cannot change, playing them up as your strengths and unique characteristics.

Rejection does not mean failure; it is simply redirection steering you to something better suited for you. It is proof that you are courageous and you’re making an effort, putting yourself out there and working to get what you want out of life.

Do not let it hold you back, give yourself grace, and don’t stop showing up as your best self because rejection is a part of every success story.

I am always rooting for you.

All my love, Jhoye.
