Pillow Talk Gone Wrong

Ever found yourself lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to sleep but your mind has other plans? Yeah, same. It's as if the moment your head hits the pillow, your brain suddenly becomes the most talkative person at the party. "Hey, remember that awkward thing you said in 2012? Let’s replay that in HD!" And just like that, sleep becomes a distant dream.

Unsaid thoughts have a way of taking up prime real estate in our heads, especially at night when everything is supposed to be calm and quiet. It’s like our brain thinks, "Hey, now that you’re free, let’s process everything you’ve avoided thinking about all day!" From work stress to that text you should’ve sent, they all line up to rob you of precious sleep.

So, what do you do when your mind is on a late-night rant? You can try counting sheep, but they’ll probably end up in your unsaid-thoughts spiral too. "Wait, why are ducks always in a row? Are they planning something?" Classic

But seriously, it’s important to give those thoughts a little attention before bedtime. Journaling, deep breathing, or even just talking it out with a friend can help ease the mental load. Or, if all else fails, there’s always that trusty podcast that’s just boring enough to put you to sleep.
