Overcoming The Rut
“What if it never gets better?”
“What if this is just the beginning of a downward spiral?”
These thoughts hit harder, especially now when everything seems so unstable. The cost of living is increasing by the second, but means are not increasing concurrently, and your effort doesn't stretch as far as it used to.
It is easy to slip into the headspace where you feel stuck, not because you’re not trying, but because you’re just exhausted and it’s a whole lot.
First, pause, take a breath.
Give yourself some grace; you’re navigating life at a time when a lot is demanded from you with very few available resources.
So instead of pretending that everything is fine or hiding under the “just take it easy” banner, do this;
Focus on the things that actually move your life forward, even if it’s repetitive, even if it's uncomfortable.
Follow up on opportunities, make the decisions you’ve been avoiding. Not because it’s easy, but because right now, you have to be a lot more intentional about staying stable.
Rest when you need to, yes, but don’t ghost on your life. You don’t need a perfect plan, but you do need to move. And this phase? It’s not permanent, but it won’t change on its own either.
You’re allowed to feel tired, but you are also capable of creating shifts.
You’re not stuck; you’re in a tough stretch, and you will move through it.
I’m always rooting for you.
All my love,
