Maybe it’s time to choose yourself

Hey you,

Have you ever made a decision that didn’t really make sense to anyone else... but felt right deep down?

I quit my job a little while ago. No big story or anything, just a moment when I realised, “This isn’t for me.” It felt like I was trying to fit into a box that didn’t quite fit, day after day. From the outside, it looked fine. But inside, I was tired.

Since then, I’ve been figuring things out. I started learning project management from scratch, and I won’t lie, there are days when I’ve doubted myself and wondered if I made the right call.

But I’ve also smiled more, taken deep breaths, and started to feel like myself again.

Starting over isn’t always some huge event. Sometimes, it’s just choosing yourself even if it feels scary or uncomfortable.

Maybe you’re in that place too. Maybe something inside you is quietly saying, “This isn’t working.” Or maybe you’ve already made a big change and now you’re wondering what’s next.

If that’s you, here’s something that’s helped me: when the fear or doubt shows up, try writing it down. Don’t judge it. Just get it out on paper. Sometimes seeing those thoughts outside your head makes them less scary. Then, ask yourself what one small thing you can do today that feels like a step toward what you want, even if it’s tiny.

Today, I just want you to know that I see you. I know it’s really scary, but I need you to know that you’re also really brave. And you don’t have to have it all figured out to know you want something better.

So, what’s the wildest decision you’ve made lately? What did it show you about who you are?

Write me back if you want to. I’d really love to hear.
