Make It Obvious

This month, I've been reading Atomic Habits, and boy, it's packed with knowledge. So, allow me to share one thing I have learned.

Change doesn’t happen because we’re somehow stronger, braver, or more disciplined than everyone else. Most of the time, it happens because we’ve made it a little easier to do the right thing and a little harder to do the wrong one.

Want to drink more water? Keep a bottle on your desk. Want to go for a run? Put your shoes right by the door. Want to stop scrolling at midnight? Move your phone out of reach. It’s simple, almost silly, but it works. Your environment quietly nudges you toward your better habits, even when motivation is not present.

The cool part? Over time, these tiny nudges add up. You don’t notice it day by day, but suddenly you’re the person you wanted to be, the one who drinks water without thinking about it, the one who writes before scrolling, the one who actually shows up for themselves. And you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to set yourself up to win little by little.

So, today, don’t try to overhaul your life. Don’t guilt yourself for yesterday’s missed workouts or forgotten goals. Just tweak your world a little. Stack the small wins in your favour. And trust that eventually, those tiny changes will feel like the most natural version of yourself: your best self, quietly, effortlessly, humanly.

All my love,
