Lagos Danfo Wahala & Your Mental Health

If you’ve ever entered a Lagos bus, you know it’s not just transport, it’s drama, tension, and comedy all at once. Just yesterday, an agbero removed the wiper of the bus I was in, simply because the conductor didn’t pay ₦200 after picking up 2 passengers. Bruh! wild, right?

But let's check this thing, life (and our mental health) can sometimes feel like this...

Just like drivers drop money at every junction, many of us drop pieces of ourselves, energy, time, and peace, just to survive. Work wants something, family wants something, society wants something. If we’re not careful, we’ll end up drained.

₦200 may look small, but losing a wiper is stressful. Same way, skipping small self-care moves like resting, journaling, praying, or talking to someone can pile up until boom, you can’t see clearly again.

So today, remember this: You are not just a conductor hustling to settle everyone. You’re also a human who deserves calm, clarity, and care. Protect your “wiper”, your mental health. Because without it, moving forward becomes harder.
