Kindness, The Way Back To You.

You are with yourself all the time. Every day, every hour, every moment. You are your own constant companion.

The voice in your head, the one that cheers you on or tears you down, is always there. So it matters what that voice says.

If you were your own friend, how would you treat yourself? Would you speak gently when you mess up? Would you give yourself room to rest on slow days? Or would you pick yourself apart for not doing enough?

It is so easy to show kindness to others and forget to offer even a small part of that to yourself. But you deserve your kindness too. You deserve to be loved by you.

Be the kind of friend who forgives. The one who reminds you that a bad hour does not ruin a good heart. The one who says, “You are still trying, and that matters.” The one who believes in you even when you feel like you are falling short.

You do not have to get it all right. You do not have to be perfect to be worthy. You just have to be kind. And the best place to begin is with yourself.
