KINDNESS

So today, I’m here to remind you of why you should never withdraw your hand of kindness.

You know how the psychologist, John Locke, says that a child’s mind is like a blank slate, yeah?

That also implies that everything we do as adults (including the kindness we show) was acquired at some point, most likely picked up from acts of kindness that were shown to us, or how we’ve seen people treat other people. Kindness is like a chain reaction, one act begets the other.

I know that people can be unreasonable sometimes, and in a lot of cases, you’re justified to withdraw your acts of kindness, but hey, giving up on it means that someone else is losing out on the opportunity to benefit and learn from you.

My point? Showing kindness (as with many other things in life) is rarely just about self. There’s a ripple effect it creates.
