Just Thinking About Things
Some days, I wonder if the point of life is just figuring out where to put your hands. Like, what do people do with themselves while they wait for the water to boil, or the grief to ease, or the person to text back? You scroll. You stare at a crack in the ceiling. You wonder if you should take up pottery. Then it hits you: we’re all just making it up. There’s no manual. Just vibes, instincts, and maybe a therapist if you’re lucky.
Life isn’t tidy. It leaks. You get too loud in quiet places. You love people who don’t know what to do with your softness. You try to make the grocery store trip mean something. And yet, somehow, it’s all okay. You laugh too loud. You cry at commercials. You keep waking up.
That might be it. That might be the point. You’re still here. Making toast. Making sense. Making something.
Let's stay strong together.
