It's Okay to...

It’s okay to ask for help from the right people. Not everyone can help you, so it’s best you ask a trusted individual or friend. Reaching out when you’re struggling is not a form of weakness; actually, it shows self-awareness and courage.

It’s okay to be fine. Some people feel that something is wrong with them because they’re happy, or they seem to have no hitches or struggles. Please don’t compare your situation to anyone else’s. Never feel bad for having it good because others might have it worse than you. Instead, you can use your place to help others.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. It’s normal to have ups and downs. You are not less valuable or worthy because of your struggles. Your worth is not tied to your productivity or excellence.

It’s okay to cry. Regardless of gender or identity, even when it seems random or for no reason. It can be a sign that your feelings need to be released (catharsis) and is a perfectly normal experience. Crying is a healthy emotional response to difficult situations, which should be normalised and embraced.

Remember, you are enough just as you are.
