Introspection

Introspection is simply the act of looking inward, taking a minute to go over your thoughts, words, actions, and even beliefs. It is taking a moment to have an honest conversation with yourself, are you responding or just reacting, are your values still the same, or have they changed, and are you still aligned with said values...

Many of us don’t do this simple act often enough, and with time, it shows. We may find ourselves repeating unhealthy patterns, feeling disconnected from the things that make us who we are and generally just running on autopilot.

Introspection is not about criticising or picking yourself apart; it is about becoming more aware of yourself, noticing how you have grown, the ways you have drifted from your values, and where you can do better. At the end of the day, it’s all about gaining more clarity and being more intentional about your life.
