Even After Workers’ Day
By the time you're reading this, Workers’ Day has already passed.
Maybe you had a day off, maybe you didn’t. Either way, can we talk for a minute about rest? We celebrate hard work so much that we forget the person doing the work. But you are not a machine. You get tired, you need breaks, and that is normal.
Rest is not laziness; it is maintenance. You deserve to pause, even when work is waiting. The world will not fall apart if you breathe a little.
So today, still, choose yourself. Happy belated Workers’ Day.
And if no one has told you this recently, you are doing better than you think, even on the days you feel behind. Take it one step at a time, and take your rest seriously too. You are allowed to slow down and still be enough.
Always, truly, you are enough. Please remember this
