Check In

Dear Friend,

Knock! Knock!! Knock!! This is me checking in with you not just out of habit, but from the heart.

How are you, really? Not the “I’m fine”, “I'm just there" or “I’m managing” version, but the actual version behind the mask. The one who may be tired, fighting, hopeful, overwhelmed, strong, or just figuring it all out one breath at a time.

You see, life gets busy. We juggle work, family, expectations, deadlines etc. and sometimes, we forget to check in with ourselves. We forget to ask, “Am I okay?”, “Do I need rest?”, “What do I need that I’ve been ignoring?”

Checking in is a form of love. It’s choosing to pause and hold space for yourself and others. It’s not a weakness to admit that you’re not okay. In fact, it’s strength. Our mental health matters and sometimes, what we truly need isn’t a solution, but a moment to be seen, heard, and held.

So, my dear friend, this is a gentle reminder from me to you: you don’t have to carry everything alone. I'm here, MANI is here. We see you and we truly care.

Let’s keep checking in with ourselves and each other. Because we all deserve that kind of care

Yours Truly,

Ebuka from MANI
