Celebrating Men and Boys: Because Strength Isn’t Always Loud.
DJ, please play me "To be a Man" by Dax....
We see them hustling, showing up, carrying responsibilities, adjusting, providing, protecting, and we assume they’re fine. But behind that calm smile, there’s a lot that often goes unsaid.
This year’s International Men’s Day is a beautiful reminder to stop and say:
We see you. We value you. We celebrate you. Because Real Men and Boys Deserve Flowers Too
Too often, we wait until men are gone before giving them their flowers.
But today, we’re handing them out early, not just for what they do, but for who they are.
To the fathers trying their best.
To the brothers, figuring it out.
To the son,s learning what manhood really means.
To the boys, discovering who they are becoming.
We celebrate your effort.
Your resilience.
Your heart.
Being a man or a boy doesn’t mean being emotionless.
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to ask for help.
It’s okay to say “I’m tired.”
Because true masculinity isn’t about carrying it all, it’s about being real while you carry what you can. It’s learning that your mental health matters just as much as your achievements.
Men mount, yes. But even mountains need moments of peace.
So,
Let’s teach our boys that kindness isn’t weakness.
Let’s remind our men that they don’t have to do it all alone.
Let’s create spaces where being vulnerable isn’t mocked, it’s honoured.
Because this year, we’re not just celebrating men and boys; we’re celebrating the humanity in them.💚
To every man and boy reading this,
You are seen. You are loved. You are celebrated.
Not just for what you do, but for who you are becoming.
Happy International Men’s Day 2025!
