Becoming The Person You Keep Imagining

Some people have been hard on themselves for so long that they mistake self-criticism for growth. They think the voice that rushes them, shames them, and points out every flaw is somehow helping them become better.

But if being cruel to yourself worked, it would have worked by now.

Maybe growth was never meant to feel like punishment. Maybe it starts with speaking to yourself differently. Maybe it starts with giving yourself permission to begin again without dragging shame into it.

And maybe this season of your life feels uncomfortable because growth often feels like breaking at first. Old habits breaking. Old fears breaking. Old versions of you no longer fitting anymore.

A lot of people ask for less in life because they’re afraid of disappointment. Smaller dreams. Smaller hopes. Smaller versions of themselves.

But what if it all works out?

What if the universe isn’t on a budget? What if you’re allowed to ask for more: more peace, more love, more purpose, more life?

Maybe your path feels heavier because your calling is higher.

So before the world fully wakes up, picture your highest self. Not perfect. Just whole.

Then start showing up as that
