Be Your Own Believer

For a really long time, whenever people told me, “I believe in you,” or “You’re amazing” or basically any compliment I would just shrug it off and tell myself that they were just being nice.

In recent years I started to admit to myself that I am actually a lot more capable than I give myself credit for. The things that I considered basic were proof that I can do a lot more than I think.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, stop being the person that doesn’t believe in you.

Stop comparing the things you could do to the things you have done. Celebrate every win and let yourself feel capable, because you are.

Thoughts eventually become things, and if you keep telling yourself you can’t, then you won’t. But if you start telling yourself that you can, even in tiny whispers, then you just might.

You are one of one and you have something that only you can give the world. Believe it; act like it.

I believe in you, you should too.

All my love,
