Be curious, not judgmental

Over the years, we have seen the emergence of different ideologies, perspectives, systems, policies and structures, and something tells me it’s not stopping anytime soon.

However, very often we get in situations where a new policy or ideology throws off our reality, or more like our reality as we’ve come to know it, and this can be quite daunting.

So most times, people lean towards judging and criticizing the new reality. However, most of the time, this doesn’t really make any difference and then the new reality sets in and becomes the norm and people have a hard time adjusting.

Here’s something to do instead, be curious about it, yearn to question it, to know it, to understand it, to see how it can best suit you and adapt accordingly. Rather than judging it right away and putting up a negative front to it, be curious about it. Curiosity helps you keep your mind open and with an open mind, you have an endless possibility in front of you.
