A Gentle Reminder

I know we’re so used to waiting until the beginning of a new year to set goals, make plans, and start over. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be like that.

You don’t need to wait for January to plan your life, and you don’t need to pressure yourself into having everything figured out by then, either.

If you don’t have a list of goals for the new year, that’s okay. And if you feel ready to start making new plans at the end or middle of the year, that’s okay too.

Yes, a new year is a milestone, but at the same time, choosing a different pace from nearly everybody else doesn’t make you unserious, unmotivated, or lacking ambition.

So, as we prepare to enter a new year, just do one thing: take the pressure off, and the clarity, direction and growth will all fall in place.
