- A break, maybe?
A break, maybe?
Struggle, struggle, struggle. Hustle, hustle, hustle.
So, you work five days a week, and sometimes even put in a few extra hours on weekends. Sometimes you feel like your legs are going to give in and your head is constantly aching; a break would be good... But you need to put food on the table, you need to be productive, you don’t want to feel lazy, others seem to be putting in more work, and so on and so forth.
You won't even rest for an hour, just one? No? You’ll take a rest later?
‘Later’ never really comes, does it? It’s always the sleep that’s never enough, always the weekends that end before they start. So tired... So tired...
Could it be so bad to rest?. Is it such a shame on your part if you take a break from the never-ending work? Is it such a shame if you can’t bear the constant workload?
Well, I know of this handsome and astute man who can help you. He lives just next door to you; you should pay him a visit. He’ll know exactly what to do. His name is Balance.
He’ll tell you that work is not as fulfilling when it is not properly balanced with rest. He’ll tell you that work is even more respectable when we don’t let it control us. He’ll tell you that rest exists for a reason, and he’ll tell you it’s okay to have some of it.
Take care of yourself, friend.
Better days ahead.
